What You’ll Need:
inexpensive picture frame
ribbon in a variety of colors
glue gun
scissors
Use your creativity and add to the frame with ribbon and crafting paint.
Pick up some inexpensive ribbon (you can usually find a whole roll for under $2 which should be enough to make several frames) and apply it to the frame in streamer-like designs, or tie a pretty bow and glue it on.
I decided to use crafting paint and put a cute
phrase onto this frame. Try using adorable phrases such as:
It’s a Boy (Girl) and use pink or blue ribbon
Princess for that special little girl
Best Friends
Sisters or Brothers
Additional tips:
If you plan to give the frame as a gift, find a picture that is significant to the gift recipient and
place it in the frame before wrapping it.
If your picture is too small to fill the entire space of the frame, try using decorative tissue paper
as a background and save bundles on mattes.
Do some asking and find out what flowers your friends and family fancy and surprise them with
their own custom made frame on their next birthday or holiday!
Add extra touches such as rhinestones or glitter. I used small rhinestones and dotted my “i” s on
some of the frames with wording.
Whether you decide to keep the frame simple, or opt to decorate with paint and ribbons, this
craft will always be a crowd pleaser.
