Materials:

- Dark Green Cardstock
- Smooth Metallic Gold Paper
- 2 sheets 12x12 White Vellum (makes lots for
several cards or projects!)
- Christmas Collage Rubber Stamp by Paper Inspirations
- Meadow, pesto & lettuce Ranger alcohol inks
- Ranger Alcohol Ink Blending Solution
- Dark Green Ink Pad (that will stay on vellum)
- Adhesives

Instructions:

  • Cut a piece of green cardstock 5.5" x 8.5" (or the size you need for your card). Fold it in half.

  • Stamp the Christmas Collage stamp on the alcohol inked vellum* slightly in from the bottom & side of the vellum.  Let it dry for at least 20 minutes. Cut out - leaving a narrow border of colored vellum.

  • Mount on dark green cardstock leaving a small border on 2 sides. Trim other 2 sides to match.

  • Cut a piece of gold metallic paper 3.5 x 3.5". Mount on card sideways (like a diamond.) Trim top & bottom points.

  • Attach Santa Collage over gold paper.

* Alcohol Ink on Vellum Technique - Turn white vellum into the vellum used on this card. Set 2 pieces of white vellum side by side (on top of newsprint or scrap paper). Drop a few drops of each of 3 colors of alcohol ink (I used Meadow, Lettuce & Pesto) and blending solution randomly on 1 piece of vellum. QUICKLY place the other sheet on top and pat until ink spreads over most of both sheets. Take the top sheet off and lay on dry side. Will dry very quickly.
